Tourist Visa Information

 

If you arrive in Australia with a tourist visa and intend to study, you are allowed to study for up to 3 months.

Working Holiday Visa Information

 

Working holiday visas allow its holders to travel, work and study in Australia.
Who can apply for working holiday visa:

 

* People from the following countries may obtain a working holiday visa:
The United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, the Republic of Ireland, the Republic of Korea, Malta, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, Finland, the Republic of Cyprus, Italy and France.
* You must be between 18 and 30 years old, be a citizen of one of the above mentioned countries, have no dependent children, have not previously been on a Working Holiday Visa in Australia, and can meet health requirements.

 

Important information and conditions that working holiday makers must know:

 

* The visa allows a stay of up to 12 months from the date of first entry to Australia. You can study for up to 4 months, regardless of whether or not you spend the whole time in Australia.
* You are allowed to do any kind of work of a temporary or casual position. However you are not permitted to work for more than 6 months with one employer.
