Information Technology Courses
The Information Technology courses offered by AICL are fully accredited and recognised by all relevant government bodies, Universities and Institutions of higher learning.
Persons who complete the AICL's IT Diploma are eligible for membership of the Australian Computer Society(ACS) at the grade of Provisional Associate (AACS Prov) on completion of the course and eligible for regrade to Associate (AACS) on the achievement of two years of relevant industry experience in information technology. Courses
By the end of this course, students will have an understanding of effective Internet usage and the ability to identify and understand basic multimedia components, taught through a combination of practical exercises and theory based lectures. The student will also be taught effective workplace communication skills.
This course is for students with little or no IT background who want to develop the necessary introductory skills to other higher level award courses in IT studies.
The Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) develops skills and knowledge in the installation and management of siple networks and provides for an individual to be effective in network management either as an independent ICT Specialist or as part of a team.
Diploma of Information Technology (Network Engineering) is designed for students who are interested in a career in computer networking. The course covers wide areas of networking such as network fundamentals, design, security and management.
Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Network Security) provides skills and knowledge in Planning, technical design, implementation and management of complex and high-level network security and components. Students will also gain the skills to identify and isolate key security issues within network infrastracture and network servers.
