AICL Children’s Services course is designed todevelop the skills and knowledge required to work as a carer in a variety of childcare settings, as the
competency standards are common to many areas of the childcare industry. Students in this course have the opportunity todevelop and understand the Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the provision of service.

The Diploma of Children’s Services (CHC50302) is designed for individuals who wish to develop the skills required to develop and evaluate an early childhood program. Graduates will have responsibility for staff and volunteers and in most states it is the highest qualification required at Director or Service Manager level in a childcare setting.
