The aim of this course is to allow learners the opportunity to work in the graphic prepress sector, to acquire and apply competencies required for safe, effective work practices at AQF level 3. The course has been designed to provide a balanced program of training in practical and theoritical desktop publishing skills used by the graphic arts and related industries.

The course equips learners with the portable skills necessary to achieve employment in a broad range of professional graphic design and all kind of print media products as well as having a regard for the quality control and other important professional production principles.

Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become a desktop publisher and graphic pre-press operator. with experience and further training graphic Pre-Press operators can progress to supervisory and management position.
